There are several points that offer ferry services from the mainland to Vancouver Island that are included in the transportation listings below. If you are coming from Victoria, travel north on the Trans-Canada Highway 1. It turns into the Island Highway 19 at Nanaimo. North of Nanaimo you will see an exit for the Pacific Rim National Park, Ucluelet and Tofino – exit right and travel west to Port Alberni on Highway 4. After passing Port Alberni and a breathtaking drive through Sutton Pass on Highway 4, you will come to a junction. Turn left on the Pacific Rim Highway towards Ucluelet.

As you enter Ucluelet you will see the marina on your left. Turn left on Hemlock Street and to find the parking lot to Ucluelet’s Inner Boat Basin, or the Small Craft Harbour. You are welcome to walk down
the ramp look for the Castaway Charters fishing yacht moored at the dock.

By Air

Both the Comox and Nanaimo airports are only a 3 hour drive from Ucluelet. If you’re flying
internationally you can fly into Victoria, about a 5 hour drive to Ucluelet. Smaller airlines and chartered
airlines offer services to the Tofino/Long Beach Airport. Please see the transportation listings below for
more information.

All airports offer rental car services. Castaway Charters will help you make arrangements to fly your fish
home.
